Chrystal’s arms tightened around Castian’s waist.
“I won’t.”
“That prat of an alpha, he won't be calm,” Castian rumbled.
“I’ll greet him with our dagger, my Alpha,” Chrystal replied hoarsely. “And if I fail, give him my regards when you meet.”
Castian turned. She held him as she stared into his contorted face; the edges of her lips twitched, but her expression remained static.
