I stepped away from Baldy in shock. That was not what I was expecting to hear from his mouth. I was shocked because his statement threw me off guard. I wasn't even going to spare a glance in his direction, I knew it couldn't be f*****g Bruce. So baldy still had the nerve to pin it on someone else?
I took a step towards the pitiable excuse of a man still gasping for air when Bruce's voice interrupted my murderous thoughts, causing me to make an abrupt stop.
