Alpha Kristen's POV.
Iris came out from the back room, giggling uncontrollably with Hannah, after what felt like two hours. It couldn't have been less. Dorothy walked up to me just as she saw the two girls approaching. Childish move, but I had pretended to be asleep so she could go, and for the first few minutes that didn't work because she said something about me being able to hear her in my sleep because I was probably dreaming of her before leaving out of frustration. I'll have to find somewhere else to shop after today.
"Alpha Kristen, you're up," Dorothy said.
I gave her a nod and then focused my attention on Iris who had already reached my seat by now.
"The bill, Alpha." Hannah handed me a piece of paper and I scanned it before stuffing it into my pocket.
