Iris West’s POV.
I received the news that Alpha Kristen had returned from Beatrice most dramatically. She had barged into my room, breathless, without even knocking.
“Dear moon goddess, Iris!” She did a big dramatic intake of air. “Your boo has returned!”
I had a millisecond of confusion before I registered what was going on. Before I could open my mouth to speak, Beatrice sprinted back in the direction she came, leaving my door open.
“Alpha Kristen is back.” I gasped to myself.
I quickly got up from my bed to shut the door. I paused at the doorway. I could hear so many feet moving rapidly. My room is located at the far end of the ground floor, away from the noise and activity that goes on in here, so I was surprised I could hear these noises.
