Iris West POV.
My heart was racing fast and there was this continuous beeping noise from the screen beside me. I felt sore from lying down for too long.
The door burst open and two men entered the room. I recognized one as Doctor Schwann but I did not know who the other person was.
“Ms. West, you’re awake.”
I was still in shock from my dream so I said nothing to him, just stared at him.
“Simon, help me disconnect the tubes.”
The young man stared at Doctor Schwann with wide eyes.
“I don’t think I can do it, sir.”
“Oh come on, these are just tubes. Do it exactly like I taught you at the hospital.”
The young man nodded his head and watched Doctor Schwann remove one before he began doing it by himself. They removed everything and my body felt freer, like I had been let out of a cage.
