Iris West’s POV.
I did not feel like staying in today. I told Angie that I would like to assist with any work that needed assistance. It’s been a while since I had done actual work.
Doctor Schwann wasn’t able to return and he had sent Simon instead. Simon had come to check on me this morning in my room but as soon as I had told him I was fine, he disappeared.
I knew he was still around because he said he would be returning by 5:00 p.m. and it was just 10:45 a.m. I left my room and went to the kitchen.
No one was doing anything serious. I had heard from Simon that the Alpha wasn’t around. Either Doctor Schwann or someone else here would have told him.
