Alpha Kristen’s POV.
“How is the girl doing?” I asked the doctor.
“She is currently in a vegetative state,” the doctor signed.
“What does that mean? Would she be alright?”
“It is a chronic state of brain dysfunction where a person shows no sign of awareness, it could be caused by head trauma, illne-.”
“Would. She. Be. Alright?” I repeated word for word.
“Well, I don’t know-.”
I grabbed him by his collar and lifted him off the floor. He was a very short man so the height difference was a lot.
“Don’t give me that you don’t know crap. I want an actual answer.”
“She would be but I don’t know how long she would be in this state.” He rushed out.
I dropped him and he adjusted his collar and took a step back from me, eyeing me wearily.
“What is your estimate?”
“You can’t estimate-.”
