Iris West's POV. The chill breeze hit my face as I stepped outside, slightly blowing my scarf backward. I reached my hand up and adjusted it to sit properly on my head. Alpha Kristen and Shantel walked ahead. Shantel was still latching onto his arm like she couldn't walk by herself. I kept my distance and enjoyed my time alone while it lasted. Two carriages were waiting upfront and the coachman who was leading us stepped forward to the carriage in front and held the door open. "Alpha." The footman said as he gave a bow. Alpha Kristen turned to face Shantel. "Where are you going, miss?" Miss? I know it wasn't my business but I don't think I've ever seen anyone refer to their mate as their business associate.
