Adrianna's POV
I sat by Jackson's side with Hayley seated opposite me. I wondered how she would react when she realized she would lose her brother.
I promised her that I make sure nothing would happen to her brother, and I couldn't even keep that promise. She had a lot of hope left.
"Mom, why are you crying?" She asked me.
I touched my face and it was watery. I didn't even realize that I was crying.
I wiped off the tears from my face. "Nothing dear," I answered her.
"Mom, why isn't Jackson awake yet?" She asked me.
I looked at Jackson, he looked pale. His head was covered with a bandage. He was too young to be going through all this.
