I sat at the end of the counter In the bar, gulping my third glass of whiskey. The place was not my thing but I didn't care. The bar was crowded with people.
Some people were drinking at the counter like I was while some were talking and flirting.
I couldn't think of anything else all day. My thoughts filled with Adrianna and Fredrick. Adrianna had finally shattered my world. It was supposed to be me that would end up with Fredrick. It was supposed to be me that would marry him and bear his children but he already had kids with Adrianna.
