Adrianna’s POV
On our way home, we spotted disasters caused by the rain. The rain must have been really heavy for so much damage to have occurred.
We eventually got home and the compound was quiet. No one was outside. I was glad that I didn't see anyone. I wasn't in the mood for people to ask about my whereabouts.
Especially Steven, I wanted to avoid him by all means. If he saw me, I was certain that there would be questions asked.
We got down from the cab and the driver left. I didn't have to pay him because Fredrick already did.
We walked into the house and I turned to close the door. By the time I turned back to go, Steven appeared in front of me.
