Chapter 28 Fredrick's POV, 
We didn't talk too long, and then Steven left. I sat at the counter, taking my third drink. I could hear music playing. But it wasn't the music everyone was dancing to before. It was changed to a kind of music that felt distant. 
It had been five years since that night, I buried it because I felt bad about the fact that I never got to see her face. But fate had a cruel way of bringing past mistakes back to the present. And today, it hit me hard when I found out Adrianna was the one.
