Adrianna's POV
"Slow down!!" I shouted, running after the kids.
They were playing carelessly at Fredrick's house because they were so excited.
It was already the weekend, and a deal was a deal. When I told the kids that we would be coming over to stay with their father for the weekend, they were over the moon.
We arrived early this morning. I made sure no one was aware of it. I knew what I was doing wasn't wrong. Fredrick was their father, so taking them there wasn't a problem. But I couldn't say the same for myself.
I told the kids not to make a fuss about it. That it was our secret. If I didn't tell them that, they might end up telling someone. Someone like my mother who seemed like the closest to them.
