Adrianna's POV
Jackson and Hayley's school was closer to home than work. I would have to drop the kids off first and meet with the principal since it was their first day.
But I couldn't do that. I was already late. I told Steven to do that for me. But that only meant I had to get a cab when we got to the school. I couldn't wait for Steven to go meet the principal and drive me.
When we got there, I waved my kids bye and took off. It was hard convincing them of a good reason why I wasn't going with them. It was difficult getting a cab. It took some time before I eventually got one.
The driver dropped me in front of the company. I quickly ran out of the cab. "You haven't paid yet!" The man shouted.
