Nigel opened the door and paused, his brows lifting at the figure in his bed. Her breaths were even indicating she was fast asleep. He'd known she was still around but he didn't think she would be sleeping. He closed the door and moved to the walk-in closet, expecting to find her bags packed but nothing was out of place. Her clothes were still hanging beside his. Color coordinated and all. He walked back out and stood at the foot of the bed, watching her. The time alone with her had helped him understand her a little better. He could tell the differences between her smiles, expressions, and body language.
