Through the orb, Kenneth yanks us so fast that I don't have time to escape before the portal closes. I try to fight my way from Kenneth’s arms and bust away out of the bright orb, but every time that I come close, he clenches me tighter against his rock-hard chest. “Brea, Luv, we are almost there, please don’t let go!” he begs.
Shaking my head back and forth I scream back, “No, I want back there right now! Aiden is not doing this alone!”
With all his might, Kenneth grips me harder. My elbow slams into the pit of his stomach and knocks him three feet back. Kenneth catches himself just in time before his body touches the edge of the orb. Through his clamped teeth he snarls, trying his best to hold back his frustration. “Bloody hell, Brea! That could have been bad!”
