ASHLEY’S POV The scrape of blades against ice echoed through the rink. Coach blew his whistle every few seconds as the football players struggled to keep up with the hockey team. Melissa and I stood at the side, clipboards in hand, scribbling down last-minute notes for the charity game. The place was cold as usual my nerves kept me warm enough.
