Chapter Nineteen My eyes sting from a lack of proper sleep, but I stretch awake anyway. The hunger inside me, both for blood and food, is becoming too much to ignore and I need to sate it. Besides, I get to start my day with... My eyes snap open, and my heart cracks as the events of yesterday flood through my mind. It wasn't a bad dream. It was completely real, and there's nothing I can do to change it, even if I want to. But that doesn't mean things won't have changed while I slept.
