Chapter Nine
I collapse against the inside of my door, glad to have it between me and the rest of the world. In here, it's just me and Oscar, there's nothing dangerous about that.
Or at least, nothing dangerous that I don't want to do. I suppose getting emotionally entangled with someone while going through severe blood efficiency does count as a little on the risky side. I don't want him to regret anything we do down the line.
