Jane's p.o.v
My head was throbbing as I slowly sat up. The first thing I saw when I woke up is a worried Tessa and a pissed off Acerbi. Luckily the plan worked to get me to freedom but what about Dan and Joey?
"Where's Joey or Dan?" Tessa gave me a sad smile.
"We didn't get to them quick enough. They've been taken somewhere else."
My jaw clenched tight as anger took over my being. "What you mean you didn't get to them?" Tessa looked at me sadly and walked away, knowing that once I'm mad it'll be hard to calm me down.
Standing up quickly, I lost control of my balance and almost fell. Acerbi reached his hand out for me but retracted it back quickly. His expression was stone hard as his intense gaze was staring at me.
"Why did you go risking your life like an i***t?" He wasn't shouting
