As the doors finally opened on the executive floor, Adrian was already running down the corridor toward the conference room.
He burst through the doors.
Margaret was sitting at the end of the table, looking enraged. The other members of the board stared at him in awe.
Adrian was breathing hard. His shirt was ripped, and his hair was disheveled.
"I'm here," he said. "Let's vote."
