The dragon released a growl the echoed through the children's eardrums.
Intimidated by the dragon's overwhelming presence. Shun wasn’t able to move. His body continuously trembles in fear. His mind was already consumed by fear.
The dragon turned its head toward the golden-haired girl, Yuna. It opened its big fang attempting to bite down. Yuna saw it coming and move quickly. She then realized that her lower feet were already crushed down by the boulder of rock.
The cold temperature and adrenaline on her body made her unable to feel any pain for the moment. But when she saw her feet already crushed down. She can’t resist herself and release a scream.
“Aaaaaahhhhhh!”
“Take this!”
Noah with his ax swings it with all of his strength toward the dragon’s right eye.
Destroying its eye. He made the dragon lift its long head and slam the rock walls. The cave trembles while the dragon started thrashing.
“Yuna… Are you okay? Shun, help me push this boulder on Yuna’s feet…”
“No… I’ll help my sister instead.”
Shun snapped out of it ad run toward Yue. Yue’s head was slammed to the block of ice and currently bleeding hard. Yue’s eye was still slightly open. Shun tried talking to her but theirs no sound going in her ear.
All Yue know was Shun was too worried about her.
Shun carries Yue on her back.
“Shun! Grabbed the ax and destroy the dragon’s left eye’ Without vision. It won’t have any chance of detecting us.”
Noah said to Shun while he push the boulder crushing Yuna’s feet.
Shun was already nervous and even though he tried it. Going to a dragon with an ax is already a suicide. The cave is unstable in any second the cave might fall.
Shun made up his mind and reply to Noah.
“S-Sorry… I can’t… I can’t… I’m sorry.”
Shun with Yue on his back turned around and runs as fast as he can.
Noah was stunned because he knows that Shun likes Yuna.
“Shun… Your so selfish.”
Noah lost all hope already and accepted his death in face of the dragon.
The dragon regained its composure and used its talons. It smashed Noah’s body instantly. Yuna using an ax desperately swing it around to save herself.
“Stay away from me! Stay away! Shun Help me! Shun!”
The dragon opened its mouth widely and ate Yuna whole.
Running desperately Shun does his best to get away.
A miracle occurred and he find the way out of the cave. He goes back to the forest running it.
While he's running the voices of Yuna and Noah was still on his mind. His friends asking for help. But he made his own decision and run together with Yue instead.
“Kiri…”
“Yue… Don’t worry we’ll be okay now. We’re already out and I can see the city from here. Keep fighting.”
Shun said.
Eventually, the two reached the city of Stella it's already night. After that day, the investigation started on the missing two kids. Shun was questioned about it and he tell the story of the tragedy.
The recovery mission started. The knights from the city of Stella searched if the story were true. They recovered the clothes of the victims, Noah and Yuna.
It was a tragedy that no one likes but some people can’t accept the happening and started blaming Shun for it.
Especially, Alicia. Yuna’s little sister. Alicia loves her big sister so much she’s working hard to gain a scholarship like her.
“It's your fault right?! You killed them! You killed big sister!”
Shun can even look at her eyes because. He know what he did. He became a coward and flee.
While everyone is blaming Shun. There is still someone supporting him. Yue stayed on his side.
It was a relief and all he thought was Yue instead of getting depressed about the tragedy.
A month later after the tragedy.
“I’m going out now… Stay inside and have some rest. I’ll get some book for you to read when I got home.”
Shun said before he left the house.
“I’ll wait for you Kiri.”
“You’re still calling me that name.”
“It's your real name.”

Shun get out of work and left Yue in the house. After work Shun gets the book for Yue. He gets the novel Yue like. Excited about the gift he's about to give to his sister.
He immediately got back home. Opening the door with an excited face.
“Yue look the novel you like have a new volume! Yue…”
On the front of him was Yue already swimming in her blood. Still breathing a little.
“Kiri…”
“Yue!”
Shun takes Yue and carries her immediately. He gets out of his house asking for help. Because of the tragedy, no one is responding to him. No one in their home wanted to help him. His reputation became so little everyone don’t want to get involved with him.
He then heard whispered.
“Serves him right.”
“He deserves it.”
“That murderer.”
Every around him talks trash on him.
He lost hope and fell on his knee. Blaming everything to himself.
“It's my fault… everything is my fault.”
“No… Kiri… Kiri is my hero…”
Yue helps Shun’s face and smile.
“I’ll get you to the clinic. Stay with me, Yue!”
Yue shook her head and reply.
“It's better to be like this. I lost t much blood already. It's not your fault, don’t believe their words. Kiri didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Stay with me, Yue!”
“Sorry I can’t… But Thank you for giving me comfort. Thank you, despite not being a real sister to you. You still take care of me. Thank you for giving me food. Thank you for giving me home. Thank you for saving me that day from wolves.”
“What are you saying?”
Yue pulled Shun’s head and kissed his cheeks.
“Thank you for staying with me. I have lots of fun. So Kiri must live his life and create more fun memories… Kiri… I like you… No, I love you… I love you, Kiri.”
Yue lost strength and her hand fell from Shun’s cheeks down to the floor. She already lost her breathing.
On Yue’s last moment. She smiled being happy because she died beside the person she loved the most.
“What was that? Yue… Why is your smiling? Without you, I’ll be lonely. Yue! Yue! Wake up! Yue!”

The killer was found and it was Noah’s brother. He got resentment to Shun and killed Yue.
It was revenge for Shun. So that Shun will feel the same emotion they going through. In the prison jail, Noah’s brother killed himself.
Shun blames himself even more.
If he got courage. If he is brave enough. If his not trembling in fear.
Maybe everyone is still alive.
Maybe Everyone will help him out.
Maybe Yue is still on his side.
Shun lost things that were important to him.
