Alina sat me down as Kaden left the room.
"Look, that night in the woods. Kaden was trying to help you, but you were scared and he didn't understand. If I were him I'd shift back to my human form and let you calm down. And if I were in your shoes, I will run too," Alina said, shooting me a faint smile.
"Now, I lost everything. My family, my future and friends. I now have to be living here and doing nothing with my life," I replied.
"You didn't lose everything, Leo. Some of us here have jobs of our own that we do. Kaden does some interpack businesses, Simon is a high school teacher and funny because it seems I am the only one without a job here," Alina stated.
