Alina's POV
I had just woken up from sleep and coincidentally, Kaden just woke up too. He called out for me and unwrapped the bandage to see if my arm was completely healed. Surprisingly it was, as if I never had a life threatening injury on my arm.
Seeing that I was healed, I got up to check on Jayce.
"Shouldn't you be resting?" Kaden asked, a worried expression on his face.
"I'd rest when Jayce is up," I answered, defiantly. There was no point resting when my mind would still be always on Jayce's wellbeing.
"You have to tell me what Peter said when he called you." Kaden said, the moment we had dressed up and were heading towards Jayce's room where he lay unconscious everyday since he was shot.
