The truth was that I couldn't believe it when Kaden made the announcement about separating the pack into groups for training. It wasn't that I didn't like his initiative but I wasn't happy that he didn't tell me about it beforehand. I mean, I was his mate after all. I only pretended to be happy when he called my name as the leader of one of the groups. I didn't want to cause a scene in front of others.
It didn't sit well with me that I wasn't the first person he discussed something as important as this with.
