Disguised or not?

Chapter Two.

Emerald.

Soon I got to the large building of dazzling high and parked my car in the parking lot. It's eight o clock and classes start by eight o five. With a sigh, I hurried into the building and first went to my locker dropping my books and taking only chemistry since it was my first subject.

After some manoeuvre, I got to class by eight o four and the teacher wasn't in class so I sat at a random chair at the front noticing the bunch of eyes on me but I ignored it. I wasn't sure why they were looking at me. Maybe because I'm new or how I look but whatever.

Good morning class! A lady who looks around her thirties spoke as she entered the class and wrote chemistry on the board.

So, I heard we have a new student, would you like to stand up and introduce yourself she asked giving me a warm smile. I guess I had the new student vibe then.

Whispering a quick prayer to myself, I stood up and gave a quick introduction of myself as the teacher smiled and said I may have my seat. I hope we welcome Emerald into the school she said and turned back to the board. So, today we're learning thermodynamics. Who can tell me what the law of thermodynamics define? She asked and I rose my hand adjusting the glasses I just put on.

Go ahead Emerald she said with a smile. It defines fundamental physical quantities that characterises thermodynamic systems I replied with a nervous smile. That's excellent, do you mind giving us examples of fundamental physical quantities? She asked.

Temperature, energy and entropy I replied and she gave me a proud smile. That's correct. A round of applause for her please and the class started clapping and the class went pretty much okay.

As she continued teaching, the door to the class opened and the teacher sighed. I guess she's now used to the behaviour making me turn to whoever was at the door and I regretted it instantly. I couldn't look away. It was a guy that fits the expression flawlessly perfect perfectly. His hair was messily styled but he didn't make him less than flawlessly perfect. He has the most amazing pair of blue green eyes with specks of gold in it, his nose was pointed but not that pointed, he has the most amazing pair of full dark pink lips and his physique was a whole different level with the right amount of everything from biceps to muscles and he sure has an amazing package. I mean, you can't judge me, it's very noticeable.

When I realised I was still staring, I managed to quickly look away and was glad I wasn't the only one staring since pretty much all the girls were looking at him. What's the excuse for today Jason? The teacher asked making him shrug. My car broke down he replied and she rolled her eyes but told him to pick a seat so she can go on with the class.

I noticed him scan the whole class and I felt his eyes stop on me before coming to sit next to me making me nervous since I've never seen a specimen as Gorgeous as he is. As he pulled the chair next to me, i felt my heart beat increase and I nearly fainted when I scented the amazing body spray he's using. Oh, God help me! I whispered a silent prayer and the teacher continued with the class but I noticed Jason not focusing as he used his long slim fingers to draw random circles on the table.

Jason, give me the first law of thermodynamics the teacher said making my eyes widen since he wasn't paying attention to what she was saying. I would feel embarrassed if I were he but I was surprised when he replied. The law of conservation of energy and it states that energy cannot be created or destroyed in an isolated system he replied making the teacher toll her eyes.

Just cause you know it already doesn't mean you shouldn't pay attention in my class, at least pretend to be focused she replied narrowing her eyes at him. I'm sorry he replied but it was obvious from his tone he wasn't and the teacher knew but she ignored him and went on with the class.

Miss Emily is sometimes cranky I heard him whisper making my eyes widen when I realised he was talking to me. Oh, no! He's talking to me with his deep Gorgeous voice that had s*x appeal oozing from it. Oh God! Help me I thought. You know she's my favourite teacher? He asked making me turn to him in confusion but he was looking directly at the board. Really? I asked.

Yeah, the rest of the teachers are grumpy but I know they like me he replied with a shrug of his broad shoulders making me roll my eyes at him conceited much I thought.

You seem like a cool girl he continued making me shrug. That's because I am I replied as he silently chuckled and I nearly melted at how sexy his laughter is. I think I like you then he replied as looked at me and gave me a quick wink before turning back to the board as my cheeks turned pink.

Emerald, what's the third law of thermodynamics? Miss Emily asked making me turn to her. Oh, God. She noticed us talking I thought as I tried to recall the answer.

The entropy of a system approaches a constant value as the temperature approaches absolute zero I replied making her nod. Good, I thought you weren't paying attention she replied as she turned back to the class making me breath out a sigh of relief.

That's smart. Jason said making me roll my eyes as I tried to focus ignoring the deadly handsome classmate next to me. You know, I have study sessions with my friends, you should come along he said making me turn to him but he was looking straight at the board. Are you serious? I asked. Seriously he replied. Oh, that's cool then i replied and he nodded and I turned back to class.

You know you have a very nice voice right? He asked making me turn to him with narrowed eyes. Thank you Jason but I'm trying to focus here I said in a stern silent voice making him shrug. Okay then he replied. Thanks I said and turned back to class.

At the end of chemistry class, Jason gave me his number and left immediately the bell rang not caring if the teacher was done or not. Rude much I thought as I packed my bag and was leaving when the teacher asked me to stay behind making me nervous. Oh God! She's going to talk about how Jason was talking to me in class I thought.

Emerald, you're a smart girl and you have the potential to be a great student she said making me thank her with a nervous smile. I noticed when Jason was talking to you, I didn't just say anything since I've seen your results from your past school and you're a smart girl she said with a sigh. I'm so sorry ma, I wouldn't talk in class again I replied looking down. No, it's fine that isn't why I called you , I called you to let you know about the study sessions Jason and his friends do four times a week and it's really helping. They're the top students in the school and I want you to join them she replied. Oh, Jason already told me I replied making her narrow her eyes, in my class? She asked accusingly making me blush in embarrassment. I'm sorry ma I replied sheepishly making her laugh. It's fine but be careful, Jason is a player she replied making me grin. Thank you ma, I know his kind I replied and she nodded. You can go she said and I left the class for my next class which happened to be English.

The class was like the same with chemistry, the teacher asking me to introduce myself and me answering a question he asked until Jason came in late again and he gave me a smirk making me narrow my eyes at him and I knew the girls were glaring at me but whatever. Jason, your excuse since I know you aren't just coming, this is your second class miss Williams said making him grin, well, you see it was very funny he said making her narrow her eyes at him. What is it this time Jason? She asked. I kinda forgot where I kept my English book but I found it he replied with a smirk making miss Williams let out a sigh. It's fine, just go have your seat she said and he nodded and walked to where I was sitter obviously and sat next to me.

I told you, they all like me he replied with a whisper making me roll my eyes. They're just tired of you I replied making him shrug. Same thing but at least, I pass their classes and they never give me detention he replied making me roll my eyes as I focused on class.

You know you have an amazing shape right? Jason asked as I did my classwork of words and antonyms. Why are you telling me? I asked just felt you should know he replied as he drew random circles.

Are you even done with your classwork? I asked turning to him and he gave me a look. Duh, I am he replied as he showed me the paper of his surprisingly done work and it looked very neat. But you haven't submitted I replied as I wrote the antonym for the last word. I would obviously get everything he replied smirking at me making me roll my eyes. You're too arrogant for your own good I replied as I tried to rule my work. It's the truth he replied shrugging. Submit your work then I replied. Just cause you asked he replied and went to submit it making me roll my eyes at his back and finish ruling my work.
