He instantly pulled the trigger.
Blood and brain matter scattered, splashing on the other men’s faces.
“Does anyone else think my authority is an issue?”
“No Sir. We are going to find that lady?”
They all ran outside, leaving the leader fuming with rage.
“Get this girl!”
He shouted as the man stopped briefly to listen to the roars before running off.
Jonathan entered the office.
“I heard you called me, Sir.”
“A part of you, believe me, I know that. I know you know something beyond our control happened there. But unless you find out what happened sooner. That beast is going to come looking for food and as far as I know. Last time it happened. It ate all the men including the leader of the Devil’s Eye cult. So, for our sack, find me the right sacrifice. Okay?”
