CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
He walked toward her. She saw his side covered in red.
She nearly pulled the gun. She could feel her heart pounding with every step the man-made towards her. He stopped and looked at the burning SUV and proceeded to pull his gun and hold it in his hand.
Carolina froze with fear. She quickly placed her hand behind herself.
They locked eyes as the man arrived close to her. She felt choking but determined to die fighting. Slowly she grabbed the gun behind her back and looked at the man again.
“Hey, miss are they going to open the road soon?”
She shrugged, lifting her hands up and suddenly proceeded.
