After exchanging a few quiet words with Alpha Zach, Lady Nina finally turned and walked toward us.
The moment she approached, I straightened instinctively and offered a polite smile.

Before I could say anything else, Selena suddenly stepped forward, smoothly inserting herself between us as though I wasn't standing there.
"Lady Nina." Her voice turned sweet instantly. “What a wonderful surprise. It feels like forever since our last collaboration. I've been looking forward to working with you again."
