"Luna Vicky."
The familiar voice immediately made my expression harden. I looked up to find Selena standing a few steps away, a small smile playing on her lips.
I didn't stop as I simply walked past her. However, unfortunately, Selena stepped directly into my path.
For a moment, neither of us spoke before her gaze drifted over my face, settling on the fading mark on my cheek as something dark flashed through her eyes.
"You must be enjoying this."
I frowned as I crossed my arms "Enjoying what?"
"The way Rowan humiliated my mother and me."
A bitter laugh escaped me. "Not particularly."
I said, clenching my fists.
“Watching fools create their own problems isn't exactly entertaining." The smile on Selena's face faltered only briefly before it returned stronger.
