Prologue

378 Words
"Good night." Two words. Simple words, simple to hear, but why did it end up like this? For me, there is nothing more painful than those words. Those two words, they crushed me. Not just my heart but my entire being. "Good night" serves as a reminder of the boundaries and confinement that suffocate me. It reflects the limitations that I cannot deny. Every time this phrase is uttered, the pain flows through my heart, reaching the deepest parts of my soul. "Good night" brings forth questions and uncertainties. Why can't happiness continue? Why are there walls that hinder our love? Why does a simple greeting become a symbol of obstacles and deceit? With each "Good night" we bid, I see the sadness in their eyes. The pain in their voice. The wonder of "Why do we need to say goodbye?" But, despite the pain and regret, we continue to hope. Hoping that one day, "Good night" will vanish from our lives. That instead, we will be free to express our love without fear or hesitation. The story of "Good night" is a tale of hearts that have been hurt, of dreams that have been suppressed, and of emotions tested by limitations. Yet, in the midst of it all, we continue to fight for a future of freedom, a future where we no longer have to bid goodbye every night. I don't know what lies ahead for us, but one thing is certain—I am ready to face the challenges and sacrifices, as long as at the end of our journey, we find the happiness we've been longing for. So, with every "Good night" we say now, I have a profound prayer that it will mark the beginning of a new chapter, a life filled with freedom and love. Because those two simple words will no longer bring pain to our hearts, but instead serve as a reminder of our freedom to be happy in every moment. DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction.
