Meeting the Pack/First Time in the Library

**Jessie's POV 

"What position do you play?"

"Defense, goalie, or sweeper is what I used to play. But I am willing to fill in any positions that are open. I don't want to take anyone's position." I was so excited that I was bouncing in my place, I could hear Axel chuckling next to me.

"Well I actually play as the goalie but we could use a really good defensive player and I don't think we have ever had a sweeper. We are going to be so lucky to have our Luna joining our team," Darla says excitedly before looking at her watch. "Well I need to get to the kitchens so that we can get started on lunch and come up with the dinner menu.We have practice on Friday, do you think you can make it?"

I quickly looked at Axel giving him a pleading look, he looked back at me and chuckled. He turned back to Darla, "She will be there. I will make sure of it."

"Great! We will see you Friday. It was wonderful meeting you Luna. Thank you for including me on the meeting, Alpha," Darla said as she left the room.

Axel quickly wrapped his arms around me and whispered in my ear, "Love, you never have to ask permission to do anything. You are my queen, and you can do anything you want to do."

"Well, I just wasn't sure if we had anything else planned or needed to do anything else." I turned to look at him and smiled. I honestly have the sweetest mate ever. "Thank you, Ax."

"You don't have to thank me, love. I will do everything in my power to make you happy." Axel nuzzled his face into my neck and took in my scent, which made me giggle. Cristin and Zeus made their way over to us and laughed.

"Ok, lovebirds, can we break you up for a few minutes?" Zeus asked, as he laughed. Cristin ran over to me as we pulled apart and wrapped me into a tight hug.

"I am so proud of you, Jessie. You handled meeting everyone so well for your first time like a true leader." She squeezed me a bit tighter, and bounced a little. Shortly after, Zeus pulled her away shaking his head. Axel replaced her, by again wrapping me up in his arms.

"Mom is right, babe. You did amazing and everyone absolutely loved you. You made everyone feel comfortable and like they could approach you." Axel said giving me a little squeeze as he finished his sentence. "You are going to make a great Queen, and Luna."

I blushed immediately, "Ax..."

"What, love? It's true." I looked into Axel's eyes and saw nothing but love and pride. I was caught in his gorgeous eyes.

We heard Zeus clear his throat and it pulled us out of our trance. We both turned to look at him, Axel with a smirk on his face and me blushing like a crazy person. Zeus just chuckled and said, "Axel and Cristin are right, dear. You should be quite proud of yourself. I also wanted to talk to you about official making you a member of the pack."

"Dad, please don't rush her. This all so new to her. I don't want to make her..."

I cut off Axel, "Axel, baby. It's ok. I want to join the pack as soon as possible. I need to start getting used to be in pack again and moving forward." I quickly kissed his cheek. "Can we do pack ceremony tomorrow?"

"Well, if that is what you would really like, then we can do that. It would have to include the Luna ceremony too. You two would have to mark each other for that and then complete the mating ceremony. Are you ready for that by tomorrow?" Zeus told us.

I was a little shocked and looked at Axel. I stopped to think about it, and I looked into his eyes. I already love him and he has done everything he can to make me happy. At that, Axel asked, "Sweets, you don't have to do this. We can wait as long as you want. We still need to look through the library and talk about everything that is in there too."

"Axel, I think I am ready for that. We can read everything in the library as we want, and we are gonna go to the library today. But nothing that we read is going to change that we are mates and that we will always be there for each other, right?" I wanted to do this. I want to be happy and the sooner I accept that it is time to move on, the better it will be. 

Instead of answering, Axel kissed me passionately with all the love in the world. After a few minutes, he pulled away and had a mega watt smile on his face. "You're absolutely right, love. Nothing we read will change that I love you. I know that I have not known you very long but I know that you are kind, compassionate, an angel, my everything. I know you are going to be the most amazing Queen and Luna. I am ready whenever you are. If you change your mind and decide we need to wait, then we will."

"How about we plan everything for Saturday? That will give the two of you five days to decide if you are really ready for this decision and give you time to get started in the secret library." Cristin recommended. "I just don't want you rushing anything. You are just getting back into pack life, back in to being around other people again, and being in a relationship for the first time. I do not want you regretting anything."

I wiggled out of Axel's embrace and ran over to hug Cristin. "Thank you so much for looking out for me, Cristin. We will think about it and decide together. I promise I will not rush into anything."

"Good, sweetie. I will always be here for you ok. If you want to talk about anything, just come find me." Cristin told me with a small squeeze and then pulled away. "Ok, kids. Go do whatever you were planning on doing today. Have fun together."

"We will, mom. Thank you." Axel grabbed my hand and we quickly said goodbye. Axel led me to me our bedroom, and wrapped me up in a hug. He was snuggling his nose into my neck, and leaving little kisses from jaw and down to my shoulder and back up again. "Sweets, I agree with my mom. I don't want you to rush into anything and then have any regrets. I will wait as long as you need me to, baby. There is no reason for us to rush anything at all. We have our whole lives."

"Thank you, Ax. We will decide what to do together. I do know that I want this but we will wait to make sure it is something that we both want and are ready for." I told him as I kissed him on the cheek, and rubbed his arm. 

"I know I want this too, but I do feel like you are rushing, love. You are trying to jump right into normal, and I understand why you feel that way but rushing isn't good. We will take the week, you will have your first soccer practice Friday afternoon and then you and I will sit and decide what you really want, ok?" Axel said clearly concerned. I simply nodded my head to which he quickly pecked my lips. "Ok, lets get ready to go and meet Isaiah and Eric. They are waiting for us outside the library so that we can all go to the secret library together."

"Ok, Ax." I kissed his cheek again to show him that I appreciate everything that he is doing for me. "Lets go."

With that he grabbed my hand, entwining our fingers and lead me out of the room. We made our way out of the pack house and outside. We made our way past multiple houses, until we got closer to the edge of the woods. We came upon a two story building, it looked like something you would see a wizard living in. It was covered in brick and moss but it was really cool.

As we got closer, I could tell that there was an outdoor reading area with picnic tables and umbrellas. It was a gorgeous place to get away and read. I think I will come here quite a bit. As we got closer, I could see Isaiah and Eric sitting on a bench in an intense lip lock. I couldn't hold it any more and starting giggling at the sight in front of me.

**Axel's Pov

As we got closer to the library, I heard my gorgeous mate giggling. It was adorable, so I looked around to find what made her laugh. Only to see Isaiah and Eric in a full on make out session and rolled my eyes. I couldn't really be mad about anything that made my mate laugh, though. She has the most angelic laugh in the world, I love the sound of it.

As we got closer to the library, Eric and Isaiah didn't even seem to notice that we were there. I wanted to knock some sense into their asses. They are my beta and my top warrior and here they are making out like two teenage kids. They need to be acting more mature and setting an example for our younger wolves. What am I going to do with these two?

"Hey, dumb asses. You are supposed to be setting an example and not acting like two teenagers in heat." I hollered over to them as we were now only a few feet away from them and it didn't appear that they would be coming up for air any time soon. I felt Jessie elbow me in the ribs. 

"Hey don't hate. You know we are awesome and you are just jealous of that," Isaiah responded.

"Dude, when you can beat me on a race, I will tell you that you are awesome and that I am jealous. But until then, I am definitely not jealous." I laughed and kissed Jessie on the cheek. "Besides, I have the best mate in existence, so I am all good."

"Oh my god, dude. Shut up. You're a jackass. Jessie, did I tell you he is a jackass?" Isaiah asked Jessie thinking he has just made the best burn ever. Which he still has yet to realize aren't actual burns but we all play along. 

"Actually, Isaiah, I believe you told me how amazing he was and that you vouched for him. So if you are not retracting that statement, you are essentially saying that you are a jackass too." She told him while Eric and I started cracking up.

"Ohhh...now that was a solid burn, babe. You need to take some lessons from Jessie on how to properly burn someone." Eric said while laughing until he was crying.

"Jessie, I thought you were on my side! That was so mean, I can't believe you burned me." Isaiah pouted which made Eric and I laugh even harder while Jessie just giggled.

"I am always on my sexy mate's side, so there." Jessie told him with one hand on her hip, and smirk. I quickly let go of her hand and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"You think I am sexy, baby?" I whispered in her ear and felt her shiver in my arms. It immediately made me smile and I couldn't help but feel amazing hearing my mate say that I am sexy. I could see her blushing and nod her head. "Oh, sweets. You can call me sexy all you want. You can call me anything you want."  

She just giggled, to which Eric looked at us and said, "Alright, since we all are acting like teenagers in heat, maybe we should stop and head inside. I really want to know what is in this library."

Jessie again blushed like crazy, and I chuckled this time. I quickly grabbed her hand and started leading everyone into the library. "I still f*****g hate this place. It always gives me the damn creeps."

"I think it looks like a wizards tower, it is super silly and cute." Jessie said while laughing. "Don't be scared, sexy. I will protect you."

I couldn't help but laugh as I heard her tell me this. I squeezed her hand and pulled her closer to me and draped my arm over her shoulder. She is the cutest thing I have ever seen. The way she immediately tried to reassure me about going into the creepy library. "Oh, babe, you are too cute. I am glad that you will be protecting me, I feel super safe now." I told as I kissed her cheek quickly. 

She didn't pay much attention to that and just wrapped her arm around my waist. As we made our way inside, I guided every past reception and towards the elevators to go to the basement. We all made small talk in the elevator, I could tell that Jessie and Eric were a little anxious. I wrapped her up in my arms and gave her the reassurance that she would be okay. I looked over and saw Isaiah doing the same thing with Eric.

"Hey guys, calm down. Honestly there is nothing bad in there. I have read every book in there, except one. That one can only be opened by Jessie, I think, but everything really just kinda tells us what to expect and how the moon goddess set everything into motion to save all wolves." I told them. Jessie just sighed, it was clear she was very nervous. "Baby, I'll be by your side the whole time. Everything is going to be okay. I promise."

The elevator doors opened up, and we made our way towards the secret room. I tucked Jessie into my side, just in case. I wanted to make sure she knew that I was here for her. As we made it to the secret room, I began to walk through the "wall" that separated it but I felt Jessie pull on my arm. "Axel, that is a wall. I know we are destined to be the King and Queen but I don't think we can walk through walls."

I heard Isaiah and Eric chuckling behind me. I turned to her quickly, "Baby, just trust me. There is no actual wall. I told you about this, remember?"

"Alright, I'll take your word for it." She said. We turned back to the wall and walked through. As soon as we walked into the room, Jessie's eyes went wide as she started to look around the room. As soon as Eric and Isaiah came in behind us, a light wind blew into the room. We all turned to see the one book that I had not been able to open, snap open. 

Jessie slowly walked over to it, she appeared to be in a trance. She slowly made her way to the white and silver tome that had been waiting for her. Something pulled me to her and told me that I needed to touch her. As she placed her hands on the pages of the book, I placed both of my hands on her shoulders. As soon as I made contact with her, the entire room was engulfed in a silver light. I heard Jessie gasp, Eric made a small whimper, and Isaiah took a few quick breaths. I felt slight pain but mostly felt as though I was cocooned in warmth, comfort, power, and the knowledge of all the books in the secret library.

As soon as the light diminished, Jessie turned to us all and said, "The Goddess has given us our gifts and power as the King, Queen, and protectors. We all now have a separate link from everyone else, this is the beginning of the Royal Pack. There are still two chosen ones that we have yet to meet but will be a part of our power."

"Sweets, you already have the gift of sight? You can foresee the future?" I asked her astounded.

"Yes, and I am so sorry I didn't tell you, Axel. I was overwhelmed with everything changing, adjusting to having a mate, and moving into a pack. And I was scared, what if you didn't really want me?" She muttered as looked at the floor.

I walked over to her and placed two fingers under her chin to get her to look at me. When her eyes finally met mine, she had a lone tear on her cheek. I gently wiped it away with my thumb, and cupped her cheek. "Love, it's ok. We are still getting to know each other and you are going through some major changes. I didn't expect you to tell me your life story until you were ready to do so. I am sorry that the Moon Goddess did it for you."

"It's ok. I was planning on telling you anyways. I was given the gift of sight about four years ago, though I never saw you coming." She giggled as she gave me a small push. 

"I am so blessed that you are my mate, Jessie. You are more than I could have ever asked for. I never saw you coming either." I said as I gave her a quick peck on the lips. "So, what other gifts were you given now?"

"I was given the gift to control fire and earth." She said with excitement dancing in her eyes. "What about you?"

"I got control of water and air, as well as the ability to stop time for short periods." I told her. Then we both looked to Isaiah and Eric.

"We were given the speed of a vampire and the ability to create protection shields in both human and wolf form." Isaiah said in complete awe. 

"We are going to be strong as hell, but I am worried about the f*****g war the Goddess foretold. We have no idea how long we have to prepare." Eric said already assessing how to protect my Jessie.

"We have three years until the war. The man who will cause the war does not know of our existence yet. We will need to start training everyone immediately and we will need to get a witch to help us train. She is one of the two chosen ones that will be joining us. She will arrive in a few months." Jessie tells us with her eyes glazed over. "The Goddess says that in one year we will need to be at the castle to begin building our pack and introducing ourselves as the rightful King and Queen of the werewolves."

"What else does she want us to do love?" I asked, it was clear that she knew what steps we needed to take.

"First, she wants Axel and I to work on interacting with pack members more and building our relationship. We need to be mentally stronger before the witch arrives and we must all start training together and head up the trainings for the pack." She said and then inhaled as her eyes returned to normal. "What happened?"

"It looked like you were talking to the Moon Goddess," Isaiah provided.

"Do you remember what you told us, my Queen?" Eric was clearly worried.

"I do but it felt like I was being told by me too. It was weird." Jessie looked confused but then I could exhaustion crashing over her. She was going to faint. I ran to her side terrified that she would fall.

"I got you, love. Lets just rest for the rest of the day, yeah?" I asked as I scooped her up in a bridal hold in my arms. "I believe the Moon Goddess used your energy to talk to us."

Jessie just nodded her head and snuggled closer into my chest. As I made my way to the elevator, I looked over my shoulder to see that Isaiah and Eric were trailing behind us. "How about after a nap, we all meet in the media room to watch a movie? We can invite more of the pack to meet Jessie and then we can start interacting with more of the pack at the same time."

"Sounds good, man. We will invite a few people, just let us know when Jessie wakes up." Isaiah seemed excited for a movie night. 

"Soon we all will be moving onto more strenuous trainings and our imprint on the pack. We have to start training to become the Royal Pack." Eric said in a very serious no nonsense tone.

As we hit the main floor and started to the exit, I responded, "We will but not today. We all need to let everything that happened truly sink and rest. Jessie has been through enough lately, she needs to recharge and I am not going to push her."

"That's true. Sorry, man. I am just caught up in my own thoughts here." Poor Eric said with his head down.

"There is no need to apologize, Eric. You're right but I also don't want to put any of us in a situation to where we are pushing ourselves to hard and wearing ourselves out. I am not only thinking about Jessie but you guys too. You are my best friends and I would be devastated if anything happened to either of you."

"Thanks, man. We love you to." Isaiah said with a huge smile on his face. He then turned to Eric and whispered, not so quietly, "My best friend is the true King. I am awesome by association."

I just chuckled. Soon we were back at the pack house and Jessie was soundly asleep. I made my way upstairs to our room and laid her down on the bed. I quickly tucked her in, tossed off my shirt, and climbed in bed beside her. I planted a small kiss on her forehead, and whispered, "Sweet dreams, Jessie." 

**Jessie's POV

I woke up wrapped in Axel's arms. It took me a few minutes to realize that he wasn't wearing a shirt. I didn't want to wake up so I lightly traced his abs and pecks with my fingertips. I was in awe of the silky feel of his skin, the hardness of his muscles, and the tan of his skin. As my finger moved up, I looked up to his face only to find his eyes open. I gasped as I noticed they were black pools of lust. He crashed his lips to mine and tightened his grip around my waist. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance, which I readily granted. Our tongues tangled in a battle of dominance, which he won.

"Axel..." I murmured in between kisses. "I'm not ready yet, baby."

I felt him stiffen, pull back, and fight for control. He took in several ragged breaths before he looked back into my eyes. His eyes back to their normal grey. "I'm sorry, love. Having you touch me made my wolf take control."

I shook my head, "No, I am sorry. I thought you were still asleep. It's my fault."

"I enjoyed it, Jessie," he told me making me blush instantly. "but we will need to be careful about that until we are ready to go further. I don't know how well I would be able to control my wolf in the future."

I simply nodded my head, "How long was I out for?"

"Just a couple of hours. We were gonna have a movie night with a Isaiah, Eric, and a few pack members that neither of us have really been around. Is that ok with you?"

"Of course," I told him honestly. "Axel, I've made up my mind about everything. I want to become a part of the pack, to do the Luna ceremony, and I want you to mark me in front of the pack. We can complete the mating process that night too."

"Love, as much as I would love that, I don't want you rushing yourself into anything. I want you to be sure of this, you have already been goin..." Axel was rambling so I shut up with a quick kiss.

"Ax, I know what I want. I am not rushing into anything. I know that you love me and will never do anything to hurt me. And in our short time together, I am already faling in love with you. I want to be tied to you forever. But I do want to wait until Saturday. I want to meet as much as the pack as we can until then and we can keep working on our relationship. Is that ok?" I asked him, I was scared he would say that we couldn't wait and it had to be now. I looked up and saw that mega watt smile I have become so crazy of.

"Of course we can wait until then, love," He said pulling me into a tight hug. "But it might be even harder to control my wolf from wanting to mark and mate you since you told us you want us too."

I giggled, "I have faith in you, sexy. Now, lets have this movie night. Tomorrow we can meet with your mom and dad about meeting as much of the pack as possible."

Axel reluctantly pulled away from me, "Okay, as long as you promise to stay by my side tonight."

I gently stroked his cheek with my hand, "Of course, Ax. I don't want to be away from you either."

He kissed my cheek and then his eyes glazed over as he linked someone. Once he finished he climbed out of bed and threw on his shirt that he had thrown on the floor earlier. I decided to let my hair down and just run a brush through it. When I finished, Axel came over and ran his fingers through it. "I love your hair, Jessie. It feels so nice in my fingers. I can't wait to feel it on other parts of my body."

I turned bright red as I blushed, and heard him chuckle. I turned, pecked his lips, and then grabbed his hand to leave the room. He lead us into the entertainment room where there were about 25 people. I noticed Isaiah and Eric already sitting down and snuggled on the couch, but they saved two seats. I smiled and waved to them. They both smiled and waved back, and indicated that the saved seats were for Axel and I. 

Axel started by greeting the group, "Good evening everyone. Thank you for joining us tonight. We are going to enjoy a great movie night."

"Of course, Alpha. Thank you for inviting us to join you. We are are grateful to get to spend time with you." A male wolf came forward bowing to show his respect.

Axel quickly nodded to show he appreciated the sign of respect, he was about to continue but  brunette girl who was smaller than me all the way around said, "Who is this b***h? She's trying to project an authority that she is not entitled to. I could easily take her."

Axel and I both growled loudly at her but it was Eric that yelled, "Tina, I would watch your mouth if I were you. Do not disrespect her again or you will be answering to me."

"Oh no, she will be answering to me and probably Jessie. Everyone, this is my true mate, Jessie." As Axel said this, Tina's draw dropped. "She is 100% bonded to her wolf, she has been on her own for years but never became a rogue. Not only that but she has fought and won multiple battles against rogues, witches, vampires, and anything else that was thrown at her and protecting the pack without realizing she was protecting us. She will be also be a part of the trainings so that she can teach us everything that she learned. She is your Future Luna and she will be treated with respect."

"Yes, Alpha." They all stated and bowed, except Tina. She still seemed to be in shock. "Welcome to the pack, Luna."

"She is still a rogue, she is not strong enough!" Tina yelled again. "She can't be our Luna. Besides, you are supposed to pick me to be your Luna."

At this I growled and approached her, "Since you seem to be so sure that I am not strong enough to be your Luna, you can fight me tomorrow at the training. Once I have beat you, you will stop this obsession with becoming Luna, you will leave my mate alone, and you will stop disrespecting me."

"And if I win?" she smugly replied, but it was clear she was also scared. "I'm the one the top warriors, you know."

I simply laughed at this before telling her, "If you can win, you can be the Luna but you will never have my mate. Axel is mine and always will be."

"Babe, don.." Axel started to say.

"Ax, love, I won't loose to her. Trust me," I told him while wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him. In the corner of my eye, I could see Tina stomping out of the room.

"Oh girl, that was amazing!" Eric said laughing. "She deserved that. She is not a top warrior, she's second tier. That girl has always wanted to be higher rank. She rejected her mate, he wasn't ranked high enough."

"The drama's over. Let's just enjoy the movie!" I told everyone. "I am so glad to get to spend this time with you."
