Two Worlds Collide

4 YEARS LATER

**Jessie’s POV- Age 17

I have been living by the lake for years now. Moon and I carved the cave to make multiple rooms, and used downed trees from the forest to make furniture and a door. Moon has become an amazing hunter, so we stay happy and full. I will say we have become a bit wild, but with the isolation and constantly fighting off rogues it was only a matter of time.

Moon: Hey Jessie, you do realize it is our birthday in 6 months and we will be able to find our mate. Do you think we should move one? I don’t think we will find him in the woods. He’s not a rogue.

Jessie: How do you know our mate is not a rogue? We’ve never met him, I think.

Moon: He is special just like we are, of course, dumbass.

Jessie: Ok, b***h. No need to be so feisty.

Moon: How is it that with solitude we cuss now?

Jessie: We can blame the rogues for that. Every time we dealt with one, that’s all that comes out of their mouths. They aren’t very bright and their vocabulary is quite limited.

Moon: Girl, we didn’t finish high school or junior high for that matter.

Jessie: Yeah, but we’ve been able to swipe enough books that I have learned enough and I bet I could graduate.

Moon: You’d have to go back to school to graduate.

Jessie: True that. Haha

Moon: Oh my gosh, are you seriously saying that to me? I think we are starting to loose are mind. Just go for a swim and clean up. We still have blood on us from catching dinner.

Jessie: Okay, okay.

I made my way over to the lake so that I could get cleaned up. I love bathing in the lake. I had made a brush from twigs and vines. My caramel colored hair now stopped at the bottom of my ass, and now held natural cascading loose curls. I loved it. My hair had adapted well to the environment, it was shiny, full and silky. I sat on a nearby rock, and brushed out my hair while thinking about how I have changed.

Over the years I had blossomed and filed out. I stood at least 5 to 6 feet, had an hour glass figure that I love, I was toned with a little 6 pack tummy, my breasts were probably a C to D cup, and a nice round but toned butt. Being in the wild meant I was constantly on the run so I stayed in good shape, whether is was to hunt for food, to fight off rogues, vampires, demons, and whatever wild animal tried to invade my territory. Unfortunately, being in the wild also meant I didn’t actually know how tall I was, what I weighed, what my chest size was, none if it.

I finished brushing my hair, and starting removing my clothes so that I could get cleaned up. I had made myself leaf and vine clothing, I couldn’t be running around naked. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. I walked into the water and when the water was to my ribs, I dove under and swam to the middle of the lake. There as a little island in the middle of the lake that I liked to bathe by. I was able to partly stand and enjoy the warmth of the sun as I bathed. As I was finishing my bath, I heard a noise coming from the forest, and I could smell werewolves, but I could smell the most amazing scent of musk and the ocean. 

Jessie: What is that amazing smell, Moon?

**Axel’s POV-Age 20

Zeus and I were in his office discussion the pack and possibly expanding. He pulled out a map and pointed to all to familiar area, the lake where I was found.

“I’ve noticed that we have very few rogue attacks in this area, and that makes it the best spot for us to expand too. With the pack growing at the rate it is and you taking over soon, we will need to the land to be able to keep our pack happy. Do you remember this place?” Zeus asked me.

”Of course, I remember it. It’s the place that you found me and made me the happiest wolf in the world. I haven’t been there in a few years, though. I used to go all the time, but I was so busy reading and training for all the competitions.” I told my dad.

”And that training paid off, you won every competition, every year. The reading was also very necessary, that was definitely information we needed to know. You’ll need to be able to relay everything to your mate.” he replied.

Zeus and I learned the name of the book in the secret room is the Doctrina Selene. She is the Moon Goddess and mother of Werewolves. It is her book, her story, her prophecies, everything. It took me 3 weeks to read the whole book, and another 3 months to really digest everything in it. I learned that the secret room held even more books behind some curtains that looked like walls.

In the last 4 years I have read every book in that room but one. It is locked, but has no key hole. I haven’t been able to get it open no matter what I try. But Duke convinced me to stop trying after about 6 months, he says that he believes the book is meant for my mate only. And I have been dying to meet her, over the years I have learned what a mate truly means and boy do I want it. I know in the past I never wanted one, but I have gotten to witness and learn what she will truly mean to me: someone who will love me unconditionally, be my support, complete my heart, mind, and soul, she will be my world.

Isaiah found his mate literally the day he turned 18.

Flashback, 1 year:

Isaiah was in the back room waiting to be presented at his coming of age ceremony. I knew he was nervous, so I decided to head back to help calm him. As I walked into the room, I saw my best friend pacing and wringing his fingers.

“Dude, you need to relax. It’s gonna be ok. Remember what we talked about, even if you don’t find him today, you and I will always have each other’s back and always be there for each other. I still haven’t found my mate, and it’s been a year. It may not happen today.” I told him.

“I know, but my wolf is super anxious, and it’s making me anxious. I just really want to find him, ya know?”

“I know, Isaiah. Trust me, I know exactly how you are feeling right now. Though, honestly, I am kinda glad my mate wasn’t one of those obnoxious bitches in the pack. You know the ones that try to convince me that they are my mate and won’t leave me alone.”

At that Isaiah finally smiled and laughed, “That’s true. If any of them were our future Luna and Queen, I would have to have considered leaving the pack and having to ditch my best friend to deal with the terror alone!”

“Thanks a lot, man. It’s good to know you would ditch me, dick.” I replied jokingly. “You feel better now, right?”

“Yeah, thanks, Axel. You’re the only one who can make me laugh like that when I am stressing.”

“Of course, man. I’ll see you out there ok. Just remember to breath and that no matter what I got your back.” I told him as I made my way to the stage to take my seat next to my mom while my dad introduced Isaiah. 

“It is with great honor that I get to introduce Isaiah Shaw. Our young wolf who has come of age this fine day. This young wolf is not only my son’s best friend, but he is also your future Beta and one of our tops fighters. He has worked hard to get where he is today. We are proud to have him in our pack and whomever is lucky enough to be mated to him must be one lucky wolf.” Zeus said. “Without further ado, our future Beta, Isaiah Shaw.”

Isaiah walked onto the stage looking down, before slowly raising his head up. Suddenly, his head snapped toward the sky and he started sniffing the air frantically. It was obvious that his mate was in the audience. Soon a tall man about 6 foot 7 inches, dark brown hair, green eyes, and toned physique walked toward him, pushing his way through the crowd. As soon as he was a yard from the stage, Isaiah jumped down and ran to him yelling mate. 

The man ran straight into Isaiah’s arms and kissed him soundly on the lips. The pack had become much more welcoming and supportive of Isaiah over the years and as a result we have had several young wolves come out as well. This wolf I recognized as one of Isaiah’s bullies when I first came to the pack, but I think he was one of the first to stop the bullying when he realized I wouldn’t stand for it.

Their kiss lasted for quite awhile, and Zeus went back to the microphone, “I think we can all agree that our Beta has found his mate. Congratulations to Isaiah and Eric! Will you boys be completing the bonding publicly or privately?” The bonding ceremony is when two wolves, true mates or not, bite each other to claim their mate. The mating is not completed until they bite each other and consummate the mating.

As my father asked this, Isaiah pulled his lips away and his mate buried his face in Isaiah’s chest as Isaiah held him close. “We will complete it privately, Alpha.” Isaiah said with a chuckle. He looked back at his mate and whispered, “Can I introduce you to Axel? He’s my best friend.” He simply received a nod, so Isaiah waived me over. 

I hopped down from the stage and made my way over to the couple. I gave Isaiah a quick hug and said, “Congratulations, man. You are one lucky wolf to find your mate so fast. Didn’t even have to wait a full day!”

“I know,” he replied with a smile that reached his eyes. “This is Eric Dawson. Eric this is my best friend, Axel Knight, future Alpha.” 

I turned to Eric and noticed that he was slightly shaking from fear and nervousness. “Hi Eric. I believe we have met before. But I am pleased to meet you.” I extended my hand for him to shake.

He looked up shocked, “You don’t hate me?”

“You’re Isaiah’s mate, and the past is in the past. If Isaiah forgave you, then I forgive you. I’m sure the bullying was just your fear of being found out, right? It’s not like our pack was very welcoming back then.”

“Right. I always had a crush on Isaiah. But then I bullied him and thought there is no way in hell, he’ll want me now. And then you became his best friend and shut the bullying down which was amazing for all of us, and then I thought Isaiah had a thing for you.”

At that, Isaiah and I both burst out laughing. Isaiah replied, “I have never had a single attraction to Axel, he has been like a big brother to me from day one.”

“Seriously, Isaiah has never made a single pass at me. He is definitely my brother and best friend, nothing more. So Eric, you are 19, right? Did you know this whole time that Isaiah was your mate?”

Eric looked at Isaiah nervously, “Yeah, I did. But like I said, I was terrified of what he would think of me after everything I did. And trust me, seeing you two working out together, hugging, hanging out, I was so damn jealous. But I knew I couldn’t take you in a fight and I wasn’t sure what the hell I should say to Isaiah.”

“You could have told me, we are mates. I never held the past against you, I also didn’t know you were gay. But that doesn’t matter, we will be together always and the past will stay where it is, in the past. I couldn’t be the future Beta if I held onto grudges. Most of the pack bullied me, though I don’t think most if them wanted to, the older generation was the cause of most of that. But Axel made sure that we could all be safe and comfortable with who we are.” Isaiah said, hoping his mate would here the sincerity in his voice.

“Thank you, Isaiah. I promise to show you how much I love you. And you’re right no one but my parents knew I was gay. They didn’t want me to say anything just in case I would get bullied too.”

“Well they don’t have to worry about that, you can tell them that you are under my protection too.” I told him, and saw him smile in gratitude. “So are you going to start training with us? We start at 7 am.”

“No, you start at 7 am. I start at 8, if you want to come, that is.” Isaiah said.

“I’d love to join you guys, I am not nearly as toned as you two and would love to get in better shape and become a better fighter for the pack.”

“Sounds good. I’m gonna leave you two love birds alone now. See you in the morning.” I said as I left with a wave and made my way to the pack house. I was happy for Isaiah but jealous that I still had not found my mate.

End of flashback

“Son, are you still with me?” Zeus asked, pulling me from my thoughts.

“Yeah, sorry dad. Just remembering when Isaiah found Eric. I really want to find my mate, but I know she is not apart of this pack. I’m scared I’ll never find her.”

“You will, Axel, just be patient. She is out there and her soul will lead her to you or you to her.”

“Thanks, dad.” I said, grateful to have this man as my father. “So what do you want me to do about the lake area. I don’t think anyone has been out there in years.”

“They haven’t. I want you, Isaiah, and Eric to head out there and check out the area. See what you think, as the future Alpha, I want you to make the call. You will be taking over soon and it is time for you to start taking over some of my responsibilities. You’ve been trained for all it, now it is time for you to be in charge. After you look around, I want you guys to go for a swim and relax. You have been pushing yourself too hard and you need a break.”

“I haven’t been working too hard. I just wanted to make you and Cristin proud of the man you have taught me to be, and proud that you adopted me. You guys turned my life from something miserable to something amazing and I couldn’t be happier. I wanted to show you both how much you mean to me, and how happy I am for the life you have given me.” I told him.

“Axel, we have been proud of you since the day we found you. You never need to do anything to impress us, we love you, son. You are the best thing to happen to us and you have become an amazing young man. Now, do as I said. I want you to relax today and have some fun.”

I gave Zeus a hug and said, “I love you too, dad. We will head to the lake, I will link you with what I think.” I released him and headed for the door.

“Stay safe, son.” Zeus said as I exited his office.

I mind linked Isaiah and Eric to have them join me. Mind linked can is a telepathic communication with wolves in your pack, you can’t mind link wolves outside of your pack.

“Hey, you fools down to meet me in foyer and head to the lake. Zeus wants us to check it out for expansion and then he wants us to take the rest of the day off and relax. So, we can go for a swim,” I told them.

“Hell yes, I am down. I haven’t been swimming at the lake since I like 10!” Eric said excitedly.

“Hey, babe, calm down. And we don’t have a choice anyways, it the Alpha’s orders. But sounds like fun anyways. I’m in,” came Isaiah’s goofy reply.

“Ok, meet me in the foyer in 5. I need to change, and don’t forget to grab your suits.” 

“Ok,” they replied in unison.

With that, I closed the link and made my way to my room. I stripped, threw on a pair of swim trunks, and then checked my appearance n the mirror. Over the years, I have become quite large. I am 6’11, 250 lbs of pure muscle (werewolves can’t get fat, our metabolism is too high), an 8 pack, olive skin, black shiny hair, and grey eyes. After getting my trunks situated, I throw on a white muscle shirt and and white Converse shoes.

With that I left my room and walked down the stairs toward the foyer. As I walked into the room, I saw Eric and Isaiah locked in a deep game of tonsil hockey and a tight embrace. I cleared my throat and said, “Hey guys, as happy as I am that you two love each other, we really are supposed to be going to do a job.”

“Hey, I know that you are jealous of our amazing love, but don’t worry buddy. We love you too.” Isaiah laughed as he pulled away from Erics lips.

“Isaiah, that’s not nice. You know he still hasn’t found his mate.” Eric told him. I flinched at hearing that, I really wanted to find my mate.

“Oh s**t, man. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be insensitive, I promise. I was just joking around because you walked in on us kissing. I’m really am so sorry.” Isaiah said pleading for my forgiveness.

“It’s ok, man. I know you didn’t mean to say anything hurtful. No worries.” I told him. “Let’s head out to the lake guys.”

“Let’s do this!” Eric yelled excitedly. I shook my head and started laughing.

We all began walking toward the edge of the forest so that we could shift into our wolves. Shifting inside the pack house is forbidden. Once we reached the forest, we stripped out of our clothes and rolled them into a bundle for our wolves to be able to carry.

I shifted, and stood on my large black wolf waiting for Isaiah and Eric to finishing shifting. Being Alpha always me to shift faster than most wolves and since being marked as the King, I became even faster. After about a minute, Isaiah's wolf stood before me. He was a foot shorter than me, sandy fur coloring his body with white on his paws and belly, and green eyes. And shortly after Eric's wolf stood before us. His wolf was also a foot shorter than me, with grey fur, and brown eyes. I quickly nodded to them and we took off through the woods.

I had to limit my speed so that we could stay in a group, I didn’t want us to get separated in case their were any rogues in the area. We are better protected as a unit and I would never allow anything to happen to Isaiah and Eric. We were closing in on the lake, and so far it has been smooth sailing. As we got closer to the lake, Duke became very anxious. 

Axel: Duke, what it is? What are you sensing? Are you ok?

Duke: I’m ok. I just feel something but I cant quite pinpoint it. It’s strange. I think we should circle the lake just to check it out really well.

Axel: I was going to suggest that too, Let me know if you pick something up.

Duke: Of course. Keep those two close.

I opened up the mind link to Isaiah and Eric, “Guys, we are going to circle the lake and make sure we are in the clear. Duke is also quite anxious and is picking up something. He wants you both to stay close. We will check everything out as a group.”

“Of course, Axel.” They both responded.

We ran the perimeter of the territory of the lake. We picked up the scents of some rogues and vampires but the scent was very faint. I was also picking up the faint smell of warm vanilla and cinnamon. I loved it, and wanted to find it but it was too mixed with the rogues, forest, and vampires. I was thinking that maybe it was just a loner who had passed through. After we thoroughly checked the surrounding area, we started to head to the lake. We shifted back to human form and got dressed.

“So what do you think, Axel? Are we going to expand here?” Isaiah asked curiously.

“I think we should, the location is beautiful and it is secure. It’s only 30 minutes in wolf form from the pack house in wolf form, and an hour and a half by car. There’s no trace of rogue attacks except a few rather old scents. With all the new pups and families, we really need to expand and this location is the best spot for it.”

“So does that mean we get to play now that work is done?” Eric asked.

“Yeah, just let me let Zeus know my decision and then we can go swim at the lake.” I told them. “Hey dad. We just checked the perimeter and surrounding areas, this place is ideal for the expansion.”

“Ok, son. We will expand there, then. No go have some fun. I was serious about that.“ Zeus replied quickly.

“We will, dad. I’ll  link you when we head back home.” And with that I closed the link. I turned to Isaiah and Eric and said, “Alright boys, we are set. Lets hit the lake. I’m gonna run so that I can get the lay of the land. Catch up when you can.”

With that I took of running in the forest to the lake, we were only about 10 minutes away, so I stayed in my human form. As I ran through the forest the smell of warm vanilla and cinnamon was getting stronger and Duke was going crazy in my head. He was so excited and talking so fast that I couldn’t make out what the hell he was saying. Once I hit the lake, I immediately began looking around. My eyes landed on the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, and Duke began yelling Mate in my head.

I couldn’t move, I don’t even think I was breathing. My mate was standing in the water with her head back with wet dark caramel hair flowing behind her, her eyes closed enjoying the feel of the sun on her luscious skin. Her skin was tanned and glowing, she looked like she had been kissed by the sun. My eyes ran down her slender neck to her delicate but toned shoulders, and a collar bone that I wanted to leave little love bites on. It was then that I noticed that she was naked. The lake water stopped at the swell of plump breasts. 

Duke: She is naked!!

Axel: I know isn’t she gorgeous....

Duke: Yes, she is i***t. But she is about to be naked in front of Isaiah and Eric. You need to tell them to stop and wait till she is dressed.

Axel: s**t, I didn’t even think of that.

“Guys, I need you to stay in the forest for awhile. I will tell you when to come out.” I immediately linked them.

“Dude, you are not facing rogues alone. We are coming to help you.” Isaiah said immediately, thinking I was in danger.

“There are no rogues. I just found my mate and she is naked, you cannot come here yet!!” I yelled through the link.

“s**t, ok. We will wait here.” Eric responded.

I turned my attention back to my mate, who was staring at me. Her sky blue eyes landed on mine and I lost my breath. She was gorgeous, a siren goddess come to earth. She began swimming to the shore, I followed as slim frame and voluptuous round ass and she made her way to me. When she reached the shore, she slowly started walking out of the lake. My eyes followed as the water left her body exposed, inch by delicious inch. First her shoulder, then her collar bone, then the swell of her breasts, the pink succulent n*****s, the cup of her breasts, her abdomen....god, she was toned and sexy as f**k. She had curves in all the right places.....She was easily 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and her Round, full breasts were easily a D cup. She was definitely designed by the Moon Goddess to slay any man who sees her.

“Are you just going to stare or are you going to wait until I am completely naked to turn around, Mate?”

Jessie’s POV 

As the amazing smell became stronger, I threw my head back, closed my eyes, and inhaled the scent greedily. There was the sound of someone getting closer but I couldn’t seem to make myself care, this smell as like a drug and I needed it. 

Moon was going crazy in my head but I couldn’t make it what she was saying. Suddenly, I felt as though I was surrounded by the scent and I was in heaven. I heard a noise, and my head and eyes snapped open. My eyes landed on a living Adonis. He was built like a brick house and had massive shoulders. He was not a man to be trifled with, and very clearly an Alpha.

It was clear that he was mind linking as his smoky grey eyes were glazed over. Once he finished, his eyes locked with mine and Moon began yelling Mate in my head and howling for Joy. I began making my way to the shore so that I can meet my mate and find out how on Earth he found me. I shouldn’t even be able to recognize him as my Mate, maybe because I shifted at such a young age, maybe he knows, maybe because my birthday is only a few months away. A million things were running through my head.

As I made it to the shore line, I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I forgot I was naked as I began walking out of the water.

Moon: Jessie, pull your head out the clouds before our Mate sees us completely naked.

That quickly brought me back to reality. I could tell the water was just below my belly button, and quickly stopped. I grinned at the look on my Mates face, his jaw was almost on the ground and was about to start drooling. I raised an eyebrow and asked, “Are you just going to stare or are you going to wait until I am completely naked to turn around, Mate?”

His cheeks had a slight blush to them, and he quickly turned around. 

“s**t, I am so sorry. I was so entranced by you and so happy that I found you, I just couldn’t take my eyes off of you.” He said.

I laughed while I started getting dressed and said, “It’s ok. I was in my own head and forgot that I was naked.” 

Once I was finished dressing and threw my hair up in a bun with a stick, I told him he could turn around. I could tell that he was taking in my clothes and was confused about what I was wearing. I let him take everything in and let him ask the questions. I wasn't going to readily give him information just because he was my mate, I have already learned that wolves can’t entirely be trusted after what happened to my parents.

“Are you lost? Do you not have any regular clothes?” He asked me.

“I haven’t had regular clothes in almost 4 years. And no, I am not lost. I live here.”

“Wait, WHAT?!?!” He yelled.

“No need to yell, I have lived here for 4 years. I have been on my own since I was 12.” I told him as I crossed my arms under my chest.

“I’m sorry, but you had to survive since you were 12 in the woods? I’m sorry I couldn’t save you sooner.” He says with a sad expression.

“I am not some helpless little girl. I have lived here at this lake for 4 years. I have fought off rouges, vampires,  demons, and anything else that came my way.”

“Wait, you are the reason there have been no attacks in this area aren’t you?”

“Yes, they stopped trying about 2 years ago. I have seen a few stranglers here and there, mostly just loners like me. They leave once I approach them.” I inform him.

Moon: Stop being so stand-offish and aggressive with him, he is our mate.

Jessie: And like all other wolves, he may try to take advantage of us or hurt us or kill us when he finds out who we are.

Moon: He is our mate, he would never hurt us. He loves us.

Jessie: He doesn’t love us, he just met us.

Moon: Give him a chance, get to know him.

“Are you okay?” He asked me, with concern in his eyes.

“Yeah, my wolf just thinks I’m being bitchy.” I tell him, rolling my eyes and he chuckles in response. “Look, I really don’t trust wolves, I have seen and heard enough about who they really are beneath the surface. I know you are my mate, I’m not even sure how since I’m still 17, but I am going to have a hard time getting to the point that I can trust you. I’ll try but you are going to have be patient with me.”

He came over to me and brushed his knuckles across my cheek, “I will give you however long you need me to. We are meant to me together, my Queen. But can you tell me your name?”

“Jessie Lamont, and you?” 

“Axel Knight.” He took a step back and asked, “Can I introduce you to my Beta and best friend? And his mate? I trust them with my life.”

“Maybe you shouldn’t, that trust is what killed my family. I will have a very hard ever trusting a Beta.” I told him honestly.

“Please, Jessie, I promise, you can trust him and I will keep you safe.” He begged, his eyes pleading with me.

“Fine, but I can promise anything.”
