Her hands pushed hard against the boulder. Shoulders curved as she pushed it away behind her were delicate eggs and each step she took backwards was a risk to it.
Souree was not all for delicate nature but there was not much she could do but practice. According to their instructor, it was 'Brains and Brawns''.
As soon as she felt relaxed she began pushing the boulder away. When a loud blast rang through the building.
'crrk ckk' Dying sounds of the delicates they were supposed to protect soon went on noticed as their attention was focused on the outside and the source of the sound.
" FAIL" The voice of their instructor boomed.
They all soon noticed the squashed eggs underneath the boulder or their feet.
" A clear instruction was given right. " his eyes swept over his students.
" The duty was to protect the eggs. Your strength is not just to destroy but to protect. what is the use of all your strength if you can't save a couple of eggs? "
Shame fell upon the students.
They have been so caught up showing off that they couldn't save a few eggs. Whilst the teacher was very disappointed he never expected anything better.
She knew she wasn't any better than her classmates she never also paid attention to the eggs " watching over delicate items where a waste of our time" she thought.
Pretty sure it was a simple instruction he decided to try again maybe this time they would understand why.
Souree pushed against the boulder but with only one thought in mind " Strength with brains" It was what they all lacked, if she imagined the eggs as human beings then all their carelessness had wiped out a whole town.
She held the boulder and began to push against it with the intent of redirecting it, Each time it seemed to press hard against her she punched it.
Tiny cracks on the boulder appeared everywhere her fist hit.
Like spider webs, the c***k spread into the rock crumbling it into smaller parts.
Finally stopping the boulder she looked back and took account that she saved over ninety-eight per cent of the delicate. The ones that broke were a result of stray rocks.
A sense of calmness fell upon her as she bathed in a green glow. It was relaxing and it served as the alert that she passed and how much she passed.
Green was the highest colour in her class but she was still proud. Of course, could not compare to the ones gotten by the Specials and geniuses.
The green flow had healing properties it was also good for meditation practice as she did not have a complicated manual.
'Ugh need to work harder' she thought.
As one of the first set of students that passed, she could either watch or start another exercise test.
Souree had two course mates that had finished earlier but it was not surprising as they were already headed into the genius department. Each with a punching force of 1900.
Souree chose to sit down and watch.
"first cover and what " Tabble Dawg asked.
Eyes blurred as tears threatened to fall out.
Who cares what's cared what a First cover was? ' They instantly felt tired having just a hang of the 200 mech interfaces.
There was zero thought on what a First cover was related to.
The class remained silent as they could neither complain nor give the wrong answer.
Tabble Dawg raised his head almost bearing the resemblances of a drunk. He wondered what was so hard about his question when he remembered he had not explained how the dressing stage of the mech worked.
He had only spoken about Interface.
'This was what to expect if he had to babysit kids. '
“ First cover is what is worn by a human. A flexible bodysuit well adapted for easy and fluid movement. In a Mech, a First cover comes first, then the connection to the interface. ”
' He had once come in contact with a child-like man who went into the mech without an interface.
He connected each of the wires to the crown which he wore directly on his head, while he arrogantly strut around bare in double human-size machinery with enough power for a whole small community.
Tabble Dawg remembered how they had all tried hard to dissuade him but the guy stubbornly refused their good wishes.
Connected to the machine he began to move, and for a few minutes. Tabble had a vague thought and he was sure now that the thought about it that everyone had the same thought.
' Seeing him walking and showing off his moves ' They wondered ' Why they were being lied to. '
Before the thought could grow.
'Boooom'
The sound had followed the ear-piercing scream.
Their eyes blurred by the dust the fall had kicked up all they could see was a mech lying on the floor.
Soon the dust settled, but the chills made people wish the dust had risen again.
Tabble Dawg remembered it has this was the first time he had seen a person die so close. A person he knew he could not have protected for themselves.
The cracked mech lay on the ground. Its chest burst open, and the repulsive stench of burning leather diffused through the room fast.
Hitting people with the stench and making them bend over in disgust.
Holding in their breath they looked into the chamber.
Tears pooled in their eyes as goosebumps covered every inch of their skin.
Inside the chamber was a man; not just any, but one they had just spoken to. His eyes dyed black as if they had melted and his hair was all gone.
His skull was open in the middle like an exploding watermelon.
"So can we operate a mech without a first cover? "
" No, but if any of you do find yourself curious. you can try it but to be clear, I strongly advise against it. The brain fluid is hard to clean from the inside of the mech and burnt flesh is messy to peel. " Tabble answered; his eyes darted around and he seemed to be thinking about how nasty it would look like.
Diane grew a little bit scared, he was not joking about the brain fluid. What she was curious about was how did he know as his expression was that of someone who had encountered the same situation.
" No more questions " He smirked.
His skull was open in the middle like an exploding watermelon.

His class had gone quiet so why would there be any more questions, a lot of them were trying to digest his tiny description if he had learned anything from his years of experience that this was not going to stop them.
The human mind was inquisitive and the ability to control it at a young age was a very important skill. He could imagine in a few of their heads, that they were considering jumping into a mech without a first cover to prove him wrong.
" A mech has various kinds of interfaces that can easily be paired with the first cover. They both could be of high quality but in use of the first cover which could be cheap or expensive as long as it was functional and easy to use.
The interface is connected to the mech you can have a special one installed or you can have it modified to your taste. ".
" Improper fitting of an interface to a mech could lead to serious injuries or disasters. Due to how powerful the mech could be the dangers are great.
Countless soldiers have fallen to the misuse of Mech. "
Tabble Dawg explained.
The class was over and as usual Tabble Dawg had vanished from sight as soon as he was no longer meant to be available. None of the students could remember a time he delayed the class.
It had become obvious to them that he wanted anything but to teach them. Diane supposed he might have owed Sir Garald Juan some favour and it was replaced by the students instead.
Lana had finally identified the f grade plant monster: it might have taken a while and a lot of scrolling on the beast journal on their holo tablet but she had it.
The monster was an f grade Jaded flower mist. Just like its name it had a jade coloured back with a blue flower hidden at the top the flower was used to produce the most causing heavy illusions that could lead to death.
Its pretty simple ambience was a way to survive as it would be ignored by most things that would live to destroy it.
Of course while, it used the sunlight magic particles to generate energythe it loves to use unsuspecting prey and sometimes predators to spread it's seat by poisoning them with its branches.
The seed then grows in the wounds of this animal draining them of their life.
What bothered Lana was why she had not found the crystal core.
The professor smiled as she looked at the troubled students. It was a blast to see little children confused.
Jake was slowly getting frustrated. He wanted to be the first to finish. There was no special mark or placing it could get but fueling his own arrogance and need for superiority.
'The whole pant is empty 'she thought.
'Flowers. '
Inspecting the flower was something that skipped her mind. She picked up the flower and slowly pulled apart each petal.
It was a steady and slow process and she wanted to be careful.
A small gleam showed in the the bulb.
"I got it " Lana screamed in excitement. She had been the first to get the crystal stone.
A green box soon showed up in front of her and she was asked to leave.
A large part of her was kind of glad she was not able to tell anyone how she got it out.
If she did how was she to show off to Jake.
