Cassandra’s POV “It’s to help suppress your… other side,” she said carefully, her eyes flicking to the brothers behind me. Her words sent a cold chill through me. “Suppress?” “It’s just to help, Cassandra,” she said, her tone soft but firm. “I need you to trust me.” Trust her? I wanted to scream. She’s my mom.
