Cassandra’s POV I stared at them, my arms crossed tightly over my chest, my body trembling. Brian, Axel, and Draven were kneeling in front of me like it was some kind of apology ritual. I didn’t know what to think, what to feel. All I knew was that the sight made my chest ache in a way I didn’t want to acknowledge. Brian, the same Brian who had spent weeks bullying me, the same Brian who had threatened to ruin me if anyone found out about our living arrangement, was now looking up at me with something I couldn’t quite place.
