It's been just over a week since the meeting with the Okinaki's.
It's been a week since light has left her eyes. She speaks to me and tries to behave as per usual, but it isn't the same thing.
For one I know she is inherently unhappy, she's been this way since she found out how her father died and my role in it.
Any time I broach the subject, she refuses to talk about it.
I have asked her why she is unhappy, if there is anything she wants that I can get for her, but her answer is always no.
I even asked Kayla to find out what I can do to make it better. But nothing seems to work. She seems like a shell of herself.
She looks like a woman whose heart has been broken.
But I didn't break her heart, I didn't hurt her on purpose, but I know I have hurt her.
