Her mouth was sealed with tape and she was strapped to the chair, while we got some much needed sleep.
Sean would come get us when she wakes up.
After what felt like hours, a loud insistent knock on the bedroom door roused Kayla and I.
"Go away."Kayla whined and I scoffed.
"He isn't going away until he gets his message across, Kay" I whispered to her.
We both turned on our backs and stared at the ceiling.
I sighed before calling out to Sean.
"Yes, Sean what is it?" I asked.
“You said to let you know when she's awake, she's been up for hours, just needed to let you both rest a while.”
"Thank you Sean." I said.
" Come on, let's go get ready." I said to Kayla as I got out of bed.
