It's been five days since the cooking debacle with his mom.
His parents had left before I left the room, the next day.
I wasn't childish enough to think they had left because Jayden had fought with them.
Jayden is a combination of his parents, I doubt they would have left because he said so. They didn't strike me like the kind of people to be ordered around and certainly not by their son.
But still I was glad, the air was fresh, nice and crisp again, it no longer crackled with pressure and disgust.
Now I could walk around my home with freedom. I am not sure but it seemed to me like everyone heaved a sigh of relief and everyone could breathe easily now.
