I had just finished a meeting two big Mafia bosses.
They had wanted some changes and special clarifications on the new transport model for their cash.
We'd had the meeting in an adjoining building.
We were done now and we were heading to the exit of the almost completed and near empty office building.
Kozlov was several steps away from me, Jonah was just three steps ahead of me, when I heard the explosion.
It strongly shook the building I was in.
Kozlov was coming back to get to me, Jonah already had his right arm around my neck forcing me to bend, as we raced towards the exit.
I heard a rapid gun fire from somewhere, but it wasn't in front of me.
I could see my SUV waiting for me, but we didn't have enough time.
The building we were rushing out of exploded.
