I felt horrible for just showing up with my brother to my study session with Josie. However, I was stuck in a horrible position when I told my parents I was going over to help her study and my brother overheard. He asked to join us because he was studying for the same tests and my parents thought that was a great idea. I stood there not knowing how to deny my brother without raising a lot of questions, especially from my parents. It was not my place to tell my parents why he couldn’t come because I would not betray my friends' trust.
