Meet Fiance

Maddie P.O.V

During class, all of I could think about Jake. How did he find me? Is he back for this time or just going to leave again? All this question where swirling in my head. That I didn't pay attention when the class finished because Dav pulled me out of my thought.

" Hey M was wrong" she said

"Nothing, I was just thinking."

"Are you think about that new guy in our class?" she said flirtatiously 

"Actual nn...noo"

"Stop lying to me. I could see he is into you."

"No, he is not."

"He was staring at you throughout the whole lecture."

"He is not into me. Besides, I am already engaged."

"Your engaged," said Jake surprisingly 

"Ummm I have to go bye," I said in a panic tone

I tried to speed walk and praying that Daniel is there already. Jake being here complicates everything that is going on. Jake and I kinda had thing during high school (it doesn't really count as cheating) since we were good friends; we both started to have feeling for each other. But since I was with Max, I couldn't do anything about it. One day I was about to break up with Max when I saw him fighting with Jake at the end of the day, they both got suspended. Right after school, I went straight to Jake's house and...

Flashback  

> Din... Dong

"Hi, Mrs.Black is Jake's home."

"Hello Maddie, he is in the backyard go-ahead "

"Thank you, Mrs. Black."

As I head to the back yard, I see Natalia with him, but I felt jealous that she is here with him. Natalia had always had a crush for Jake, but he didn't feel the same way.

"Hey Jake"

"Oh, hi, Mads."

"What are you doing. Can you see you have done enough? Look at what your boyfriend did to mine." said Natalia angrily

"Natalia, I came to see Jake and not you, so if you don't mine, I like to talk to him alone."

"I do mine he is my Boyfriend " she response sassy

" Whatever. Anyways, Jake, I'm sorry for what happened at school. He should have never done that to you. How are you doing."

"You don't need to apologize. And Natalia, can you give us a minute alone."

"I guess, but if you need anything, I am going to be with your mother in the kitchen," Natalia responded and left.

I sat down next to him about to grab his hand, but he pulled away.

"What's wrong. Did I do something wrong."

"Forget about me. I don't Love you all the things I told you're fake. It was all about a bet I did with my other friend. I just used you to get some money. Don't ever talk to me " he said in a severe tone

"What do you mean. So you are telling me that you used me for money. You said you loved me and were where going to scape together. All those secretly dates we had been fake. I don't believe you. You love," I said, trying to hold my tears.

"No, I never loved you. You were just a game to me. Why don't you just leave my house and never come back again." he said 

"Fine, is that what you want. Fine, but I am never going to forgive you about this." I said, crying.

I was so devastated about it that it took me about two months to forget about him. After the talk we had, I didn't go to school for almost a week, but when I came back, I heard that he move to another state and never hear from him again. I really thought he loved me. He showed me to be more appreciative towards myself. He made me realized everything that was going on between Max and me. 

Flashback Ends

 Jake P.O.V

Most of you might know the history between Maddie and me. But you don't know the whole truth of what happened years ago. So let me tell you...

When I meet Maddie, she was the most beautiful girl I ever saw. I met her when we were in middle school. Since I meet her, we had a special connection since the being, but toward the end of eighth grade, she was dating Max. I watched how he would flirt with other girls or making out with them. But I always keep my mouth shut because I didn't want to be on Max's wrong side. So as we went to High School, Maddie started to seem depressed because Max would have cheated on her or do something stupid to hurt her. She began to change the way she dresses, how her smile was gone. Eventually, she would be so sad that she would talk to me about all the problems she had. Until one day, we both confessed to each other of our feelings. She was ready to break up with Max to be with me, but the plan changed once he found about it. It was after school, and I was going to pick up Maddie from here class when I hear Max yelling my name.

"Black," he said angrily

"Hernandez"

"What's going on between you and Maddie. Huh?"

"Why do you care."

"You better watch your tone with me, you piece of shit."

"What are you going to do about it."

"Listen here I want you away from her, she belongs to me. She is Mine. Do you understand ?"

"You know what she is not yours, and she will never be. She loves me, not you. She is done with all that bullshit you give her. I'm there when she needs me. Have you noticed that she is distancing herself from you? Because she knows the piece of s**t, you are..."

That's when he dropped all of his stuff, and he grabs my shirt ...

"That's it you little b***h no one talks me like "

We both started fighting. He keeps on throwing punches at me, but I dodged a few. That's when I went all karate kid. I kick him and twisted his armed tossed him to the floor about to punch him again when the VP separated us. We both got sent to the principle, and we got suspended for three days when we waited in the office he told me to get away from Maddie unless she would end up hurt.

When I got home, I explain everything that happened, and they understood why I got down. My parents even told me that I didn't have to worry about going back to that school because we were going to move to Boston in a few days. 

About three hours later, Maddie Natalie went to my house to "see " how I was doing, but she only went because she wants to throw her self at me. I guess that she was the one who told Max about Maddie and I. Natalie was about to kiss me when I see Maddie.

"Hey Jake"

"Oh hi Mads," I said 

When Natalie started to yell at her, "What are you doing. Can you see you done in enough? Look at what your boyfriend did to mine."

"Natalia, I came to see Jake and not you, so if you don't mine, I like to talk to him alone."

"I do mine he is my Boyfriend " she response sassy

Mentally I said disgusting me and Natalie were never going to be a thing I mean it.

" Whatever. Anyways, Jake, I'm sorry for what happened at school. He should have never done that to you. How are you doing."

Once she left, I couldn't hold my tears anymore. My mom came out and hugged me. 

"it's going to be fine, honey," my mom said.

"No, I just broke her heart, and she might not forgive me for this. It breaks me to see her sad. I was her rock, and I was there when she needs me." I reply sobbing.

It had been a week, and I haven't shown up to school because we are now leaving for Boston, even though I didn't like How ended thing with Maddie I would never forget. She would always be my first love. 

Maddie P.O.V

Once I got outside, I saw Danny come out of his car. I started to head toward him when I get pulled. When I turn around, it was Jake.

"What do you want Jake "

"I just want to talk."

"I don't, so can you let me go."

"Please, Maddison, let's just talk."

"I don't want "

"What happened to you. Why are you like this. What happened to the old Maddie?"

"She dies along time ago. So if you excuse me, I have somewhere to be"

"Maddie please"

I was about to say something when Daniel came and wrap his hand around my waist.

"Didn't you hear her she doesn't want to talk to you."

"it's none of your business."

"It is my business. I am Maddie fiancé," he said 

"Let's go, babe," I said.

And we both left for lunch.
