My body was shaking with pain that was becoming more and more unbearable. Each broken bone made tiny drops of sweat appear on my forehead, and my hands gripped the cold earth tighter between my fingers. Why can't I do this in a soft bed? Surely a giant wolf would ruin the whole interior of the house. My eyes lassoed the starry sky, which was a little soothing. I could feel the cool evening dew through my clothes which made my skin crawl. Brook held one of my hands in a gentle caress, her brown eyes looking straight into my pain riddled face.
