Broken Promise
"Is it okay for you to stay at the house for now Feli?"
Mom asked as I stared at my father who is currently inside the ICU. Nicole and I went straight here after class today, waiting for my friends, just so my parents can sleep for a little while.
I simply nodded in agreement to my mother's suggestion. "I will stay with Feli for the mean time tita, just so she won't be alone in that house." Nicole said.
For the whole day in class, I tried to listen to whatever my professors are saying but I just can't. My mind is too clouded with my brother's condition. The possibility that he can be gone does not really make me at ease especially now that they still don't have an organ that matches with Christian's.
