Doubt
“Engineer!”
A loud knock from the door made me look away from Felix. He stayed away from me, with brows furrowed, opening the door, revealing a worker in front of him. “What is it?”
“The materials from overseas have arrived sir.” Felix nodded at him.
“Engineer Gil, I need you to come with me.” He said to Nathan who is just standing next to Luke with arms folded, nodding at him. “Engineer Lim, look after Ms. Martinez and her assistant.”
Those were the last words he said before leaving the room with Nathan. My heart is still beating fast as I remember how close his face is to mine earlier. I’m sure that Chloe has questions in her mind. The only thing she knows is that I have an ex boyfriend who cheated on me but she doesn’t know who it is. She is smart
