Countermoves
“Still not stopping, huh?”
I exclaimed when I saw Jaxon leaning over his car when we arrived at the site. He is becoming a big nuisance for the last few days because of what he is trying to prove. Someone just doesn't know how to give up.
“How can I when I’m already going back to Manila but that dude is still not moving an inch?” He rolled his eyes in annoyance.
I haven’t told him what Felix told me when he first tried to prove his allegations. I see no reason to tell him about it anyway. Those words might be another joke or another word play to mess with my head and heart. I don’t want to expect more.
“That means you need to stop already. You have nothing to prove anyway.” I shook my head before we walked our way inside the site.
