It was two days after her meeting with Robert — or ‘Robbie’, as she kept correcting herself — that Gilly had a visitor.
As Stella had told her she would be, the lady who called on her was friendly, attractive in a matronly kind of way, and entirely absent of any attitude or innuendo.
Not a hint of anything that might have been construed as “judgemental” on view.
But then, Gilly had told herself, given the woman whose name was Estelle had a cuckold of her own at home it was hardly surprising.
