He looked at me and said “My wolf mama like yours is Neymar and Uncle Edans is Akeni” I turned to look at Edan he just looked at me and shrugged “The Alpha might know something so we can ask when we get there”

I turned to look at Elio who looked at me and said “Mama you’re not mad at Meero are you? Is Mama Neymar mad Mama?”

I felt like I got punched in the gut at how cute that question was and Neymar seemed to feel the same way so I said “No baby nobodies mad at you okay? Let's just go and we’ll ask the alpha later okay?” Elio nodded and clutched my hand so I turned to look at Edan and said “Okay well lead the way” he nodded ruffling Elio’s hair before turning and picking up Luzia and taking Sol’s luggage and said “Follow me”

We walked out of departures straight to our cars the were parked in front of the entrance and then Edan linked

‘We can communicate like we used to Yoyo’

I smiled at my old nickname and linked back

‘You got it Danny’

He chuckled mentally and all I could do was smile as I said “Don't worry my car will be right behind yours”

Edan nodded and turned to his balck Toyota tacoma and handed Luzia to Sol and then placed the luggage in the back of the truck while Sol went to buckle Luzia in

I turned from them and looked at Elio who was quite as always staring at the ground and I felt another punch in my gut at how cute he looked sulking

I crouched down and said “Elio Baby you know Neymar and I amn't mad right?”

He didn’t look up at me but he nodded so I stood and picked him up opening up the back door and sitting him down buckling him in and said “Baby nobody is mad Okay we were all just surprised because it's unusual for a pup your age to meet their wolf soul”

He looked up at me, his usual light stormy grey eyes were dark, catching me by surprise and he said “Is that bad mama? Am I bad?” his eyes were so full of concern that he was on verge of tears and all I could do was smile

“No baby there is more people that might have gone through what you are but seeing as this is the first time in many, many years that there is a group of shifters or in our case shifter wolves like us. So don't worry baby nothing is wrong with you”

He looked at me his eyes shining with unshed tears nodding

I smiled and kissed his forehead “It’s okay baby after we meet the alpha you might get to meet more pups to play with” he looked up at me and smiled rubbing his eyes “Really mama?”

I nodded and said “Maybe Luz can introduce you to some of her friends” Elio nodded and smiled kissing my cheek and then leaning back and buckling himself in looking up at me giving me a thumbs up

I giggled at his cuteness and kissed his forehead one more time before shutting the door and climbing in to the drivers side buckling up and starting the car

‘Ready babysis?’

I rolled my eyes smiling as I took the car out of park linking him back

‘Ready Danny’

He honked and started driving forward

30 minutes later we drove threw the nicer part of mendocino Passing all the major shopping centers like the grocery store, mall and various other places

as we passed a diner called Clydes we hit the freeway

heading down an off road path leading into another forest an eerie feeling taking over we passed

‘It’s a good way to keep humans from stumbling upon the pack’

I nodded agreeing with Neymar feeling bad for any human dumb enough to explore these ghostly woods

The thought alone left an ominous feeling in its wake.

There was no bird or deer in sight

no sign of life

which sent a chill down my spine and I suddenly felt very bad for Elio and Luzia who has probably been through here before

Edan’s Tacoma continued through this part of the woods for another 10 minutes when he made a sharp left and we pulled up to a newly renovated warehouse

It had a huge metal gate with two huge male shifters stationed on either side of it

“Hey there guys ready to let me in”

I turned from the gate to infront of me and watched as Edan interacted with the two he was leaning out of his Tacoma both men snapped to attention and bowed as they both replied

“Of course Gamma De Rosario”

Gamma?

A little shocked at his position in the pack I watched as the two guards pulled the gate open revealing a huge garage

Edan honked making me flinch

‘You scared me you Ass!’

I heard him laugh as I followed after him and then parked on his left in the only other empty parking space as I shut off the engine and unbuckled my seatbelt I glanced at Elio who was playing with his backpack strap

I turned to my left and opened my door getting out

Elio was fumbling with his seatbelt when I opened the passenger door and he look up at me and smiled cheekily “can you help me with my seatbelt Mama?”

I narrowed my stormy grey eyes and smiled at him

He only giggled and I took off his seatbelt and started to tickle him

His giggles turned to laughs which turned to wheezes as he put his arms up in surrender and I asked him

“You ready baby?”

He looked at me and said “yep mama I’m ready but… can you hold my hand I’m worried you might be scared”

I smiled again kissing his forehead and picking him up placing him on the floor beside me and then took his adventure time backpack and closed the door

“Of course”

I took hold of his hand and turned back to see Edan, Sol and Luz all waiting for us

“You can leave your other bags here and once you talk to the Alpha you can come get your stuff” Edan beamed at me and I nodded

Then Sol took hold of Luzia’s hand and her luggage tiptoeing and kissing Edan on the cheek as she smiled “Edan I’m just going to unpack and give Luz a snack so make sure after you all talk with the Alpha you come have-“ she paused glancing at her watch “Come have dinner s***h Lunch okay”

She looked at me her topaz eyes glimmering with excitement and Edan, Elio and I all nodded

“Yay! That’s great! Come on Luz you want to help Mama cook” Luz nodded and then turned to look at us as they walked ahead of us “I’ll see you later! Bye Bye!”

Elio and I waved and then Edan smiled at me “Ready?”

I nodded and he said “Okay let’s go”

Elio and I followed Edan towards a stairwell that leads to the upper level of the warehouse.

Elio clutched my hand as we got to the entrance

Edan then pulled out a key with a brass rose at the end of it and that he placed into a lock which he turned counterclockwise 2 times

at the sound of a click he opened the door and said “Okay sis this is the packs Headquarters and Event hall which is located in the other room to our left”

I turned left and saw a large group of warriors being debriefed by a very handsome-

‘Human!?’

ignoring Neymar I watched as he did his briefing

He was slender about 5’11 he had a tan complexion, honey brown eyes and dark brown wavy hair that was up in a man bun, the sides and the back of his head were shaved and lined very nicely up

he turned to look our way his eyes widened a bit and then he turned back to the warriors in front of him that all turned to look back at us

Some even waved at Elio who shyly waved back

The Human man who exuded power then said “Dismissed”

He didn’t shout but you could feel the power in his command and all the warriors flinched turning back to the Human pounded their chest once and all took off in different directions and then Edan said

“It’s kinda hard debriefing these younger punks huh?”

The human man walked towards us his face impassive as he responded “Not hard they just lack a longer attention span” and then he turned to look at me and I only smiled

“So this is the famous Enyo” I turned to look at Edan who was looking at the Human man with a smile as he replied “Yes! Delta De La Rosa this is my twin sister Enyo De Rosario and her son Elio”

He extended his hand and said “It’s a pleasure to meet you” I took his hand shaking it and said “Likewise” then he turned to Elio and extended his hand “Nice to meet you Elio”

Elio looked at me and I smiled encouragingly and he took his hand giving it a firm shake and let go leaning more to my side and then suddenly the Deltas impassive face broke into a smile making him all the more handsome

‘Oh no he’s hot’

Neymar chuckled at my comment and then said

‘Too bad he has a mate’

‘Yeahhhh’

He turned to look at me and said “Good Luck” and then turned to Edan “The Alpha dragged Luna Zari with him to his office so he too requires a longer attention span”

Edan chuckled and said “Good looking out I’ll see you at the meeting later” Delta De la Rosa nodded and then said “If you’ll excuse me” and then took off heading to one of the 3 doors to our right

As we watched his retreating form Edan said “Okay let’s go meet the Alpha and his Luna” I nodded and then I felt the grip Elio had on my hand tightened and he mumbled “I’m not scared I gotta be brave for Mama”

I felt my heart clenched at how cute he is as we followed Edan directly across HQ to a door with a Rose painted on the center of it

Edan stopped in front and knocked 3 times

“Enter”

Edan turned to look at me and smiled as he opened the door and lead us in

“Ah Gamma De Rosario this must be your sister”
