"He wants to 'be good'? Do I understand this, right?"
"I know, the strangest thing for a man who has done as many wrongdoings want to turn his life around and become a better man. When he talked to me, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. I may have shared a little empathy with him, but that still does not mean I like him or we will become the best of friends."
"I must say, I am glad you are turning a new leaf over too. I couldn't be more proud of you. So, how is your coping going regarding your anger and temper?"
"It is still a work in progress. I will get there eventually; need time."
"Good. I notice you are progressing daily. Even if you think I don't see it, I do."
