Julia's POV
The drive to Cat's parent's house was more reserved than expected. I figured Cat would have tons to discuss, seeing how she found her soul mate. Instead, she sat there, quiet as a mouse.
I could tell the wheels were turning in her mind when I noticed her clutching the steering wheel for dear life.
"Cat, you can loosen up; it will be okay. I will be there with you the whole time; I'm not going anywhere," reassuring her.
Someone had to keep a level head, or we would never get through this visit. Cat's mother, Nina, had some important news regarding the mark, resembling a crescent moon suddenly appearing on Cat's chest.
I thought it was unique; she had all these rare, beautiful details about her. Trying to calm Cat, I turned the dial to the radio and tuned it to the neares
